This was my prediction in my preview last week and I quote:
My Prediction
I believe that the Broncos will stop the Patriots winning ways even if they cheat and the league allows it. The Patriots is a good team but will do anything to keep their winning ways. Who cares what the critics says about “Spygate” and Deflategate”. They cheated and got caught and the Broncos defense will expose them Sunday! Denver 35 – Patriots 31

It was an absolute pleasure watching the Denver Broncos come back from a 14 point deficit to win it in overtime against Tom Brady and the Patriots. C.J. Anderson’s 48-yard gallop with 12 minutes and 48 seconds remaining in overtime sealed it for the Broncos. The Patriots were 106-3 when leading by 14 points going into the 3rd quarter. Brock Osweiler threw a 3-yard touchdown pass with 1:09 in regulation to send the game to overtime that lead to Denver’s 30 to 24 win. My predicted score was pretty close.

Broncos Offense
For the second straight week the Gary Kubiak “run first” offense worked. I’m thinking Peyton Manning’s injuries allows the offense to work without a hitch. Brock Osweiler looked great in the second half. Being down by 14 points he never showed nervousness throughout the game. The Colorado snow set the back ground for a memorable win in Denver. Osweiler proved to critics that he can lead this team. C.J. Anderson ran the ball the way everyone knew he could. He finished with 15 carriers for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brock Osweiler finished the game 23-42 for 270 with a touchdown and an interception.

Broncos Defense
The game was set up with the best offense in the league versus the best defense. The defense came through for the Broncos again. They gave up 14 points to the Patriots and people started writing these guys off again. Von Miller and Aqib Talib would not be denied. As usual Tom Brady looked as if no defense on the planet could stop him. Passes to four different receivers and two running backs had Broncos fans on the edge of their seats throughout the game. The defense came out in the second half hungry. Tom Brady’s final stats were 23-42 for 280 and three touchdowns but it wasn’t enough to win in the snow. Great team defense for the 11th straight week.

Next Week
The Broncos travel to San Diego next Sunday who beat Jacksonville 31-25 to end a six game losing streak. I don’t think the Broncos will lose this one either!
