Records Before the Game
Denver Broncos 8-2
New England Patriots 10-0

The Patriots are 10-0 and on pace to end the season with a perfect 16-0 record. Bill Belichick has coached the Patriots 13 straight years with 10 or more straight games. Enough about the Patriots let’s talk Broncos football. The Broncos defense leads the NFL in every defensive category and is planning to put a halt to the perfect Patriot season. The Patriots and Broncos will meet for the 50th time overall and the seventh time since 2011, including the four regular season games and two playoff games. In the last six games the Patriots are 5-1 , the only loss was the 2013 AFC Championship Game where Denver won 26-16. Let’s look at the breakdown on offense and defense.

Broncos Offense
Brock Osweiler is playing better than expected. I can see him growing on every snap last week. He plays with a lot of confidence and the offense looks pretty good. C. J. Anderson can and will rack up yards against the Pats defense. “He did a really good job,” Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said. “We didn’t protect him very good in the first half, had to take his lumps in a couple of situations but kept his composure (and) would come back and make the next play. He did a heck of a job.”

Broncos Defense
The key to victory rests on the play of a few players on the defensive side of the ball: Safety T. J Ward, CB Aqib Talib and Malik Jackson. These players will key on the Tom Brady and the Pats offense. Brady, is big on timing patterns because his receivers are undersized and vulnerable to big shots from defensive backs. Brady picks the weakness in the secondary and exploits weakness. CB Aqib Talib will cover the Patriots top receiver and Sunday night the defense will shine!

My Prediction
I believe that the Broncos will stop the Patriots winning ways even if they cheat and the league allows it. The Patriots are a good team but will do anything to keep their winning ways. Who cares what the critics says about “Spygate” and “Deflategate”. They cheated and got caught and the Broncos defense will expose them Sunday! Denver 35 – Patriots 31
