New Orleans Saints (4-4, 2-2 Home)

Last week Denver went to Oakland and got beat up by the Raiders. The had an opportunity to sit in first place in the AFC West with a victory. The defense has carried this team for two and half years. The offense has been mediocre at best and still won a Super Bowl. Bronco fans all over the country is pushing the panic button. Well guys, there’s no need to panic…

Why you shouldn’t watch this game
Green Bay is playing Tennessee on FOX and you chose to start Aaron Rogers as your fantasy quarterback against the field and you really need him to get on track this week.

Why you should watch this game
The panic button was pushed because of the three games in the “L” column. The defense is beginning to look mortal due to injuries to key players. Bronco nation needs this win.

Offensive Game Plan
Rookie Devontae Booker needs the ball! HC Gary Kubiak has been stepping away from the game plan with Trevor Siemian throwing the ball. There’s a big difference from practice and the game. Gosh man, give the ball to your running back! How can you have a philosophy and change it banking on Siemians` arm! The run will establish the pass. Quick 3 and outs is the problem on offense. Emmanuel Sanders and the other receivers arm being covered by decent defensive backs that`s making them look like terrible receivers. Run the ball please!

Defensive Game Plan
Drew Brees will pick the defense apart if there’s no pressure on him. The only way you can stop the Saints you have to contain Drew Brees and that’s not as easy as one would think. Here’s an idea. Allow Brees to run around in the pocket and give him the short completions. The Saints offensive line has given up five sacks in the last three games. You can get to him. Running back Mark Ingram is decent but he’s really not a factor. His fumble prone so banging him up shuts him down. Drew Brees will be looking for Brandin Cooks on the outside to stretch the field. Brandin Cooks hates physical corners. Bumping him disrupts his route running so bumping him off the line makes him give up on the play.

Prediction
This match up is pretty even across the board. The difference is at the quarterback position. If Trevor Siemian plays like he did in the first four weeks of the season the Broncos will win. If not, the Broncos will lose big time in Louisiana. I’m taking the Broncos by 3!
