Tonight inside the Allen Event Center the Texas Revolution’s first ever post season contest!

The Revs will be taking on the Wichita Force, who took a loss to Texas earlier this season 48-21. In that game the Force didn’t have a true quarterback, since that game the Force are 4-2 and have been averaging 46 points per game.

Texas on the other hand has only lost twice since the last meeting and has averaged 53 points per game while only giving up 39 points per game. The Revs have a very balanced attack that should keep Wichita’s defense at bay. Between the efficiency of MVP Runner-Up Robert Kent (1,993 yards, 46 TD, 4 INT) and the power of having both Darius Fudge (494 yards, 17 TD) and Jordan Brown (190 yards, 6 TD) in the backfield; Texas should be able to control the clock giving them the best chance to win.

Look for the dominant Texas defense that has the league’s Rookie of the Year (Robert Williams 7.5 sacks, 2 INT, 2 TD) and Defensive Player of the Year (DeMario Dixon, 12.5 sacks, 18.5 TFL) to attack the quarterback while allowing the secondary to make plays on the ball. The Revolution are two wins away from winning the Championship. They are sitting pretty as the #2 seed in the CIF but need to take care of business tonight. Kickoff at 7pm.

Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster and at the Allen Event Center Box Office.
