DeMarco Murray sees athletes who take out ads in the newspaper to thank their previous team’s fans and raised them a billboard.
Murray, now with the Philadelphia Eagles, put up a billboard in downtown Dallas that shows a photo of him in Cowboys gear and says “Thank You Dallas!”

We feel somewhat badly for Murray over the whole situation. All the talk was that he wanted to return to the Cowboys and was willing to give them a hometown discount , but Jerry Jones was adamant about not paying him that much. It just made much more sense for him to leave them. Since then, fans have already burned his jersey and booed him at UFC 185. You know that sort of treatment bothers him, which is why he’s making a big effort to get back on their good side. The issue is that he didn’t just leave them; he chose the rival Eagles. That results in an automatic booing, which he should realize.
