“Here we go Mavericks, here we go… (clap clap)!” was the war cry of Mavericks fans on Sunday afternoon. The Mavericks were pretty much left for dead after the Suns made a run, but everything changed when Suns point guard Chris Paul fouled out in the 4th quarter. Suns shooting guard Devin Booker finished the game with 35 points and seemed to be unstoppable throughout Game 4. Mavericks guard Luka Doncic finished the game with 26 points and added 11 assists in the win. The Mavericks are headed to Phoenix for Game 5 and you can bet your last dollar that Chris Paul will be ready for the challenge and so will the Mavericks on the road. Let’s take a closer look at games 5, 6 and 7 (yeah its going 7 games)!
P.S. – Have you checked out our pics from Game 4? Look here
5/10 – 9:00 p.m. – Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns – TV: TNT
Dallas will need to get settled on the defensive side of the floor. Dallas can’t allow themselves to fall behind early in the first quarter. The key for victory will be rebounding and getting the ball down the floor. Believe it or not, Dallas can win on the road if they play together and are physical, clogging the middle of the lane on defense. Phoenix struggles in transition defense. Final Score: Mavericks 99 – Suns 106
5/12 – 8:30 p.m. – Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks – TV: ESPN
Dallas will need to stick to the game plan. Game 6 will be the key for the series. I took Phoenix at home because Chris Paul will dominate the game from start to finish. The key for the Maverick’s is to keep the ball in the hands of PG Jalen Bronson because he’s the key. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie will get his points on the offensive end, but it will be his defense that will turn the tide for the Mavericks at home. I’m taking Dallas by 8! Final Score: Suns – Mavericks 117
5/15 – 7:30 p.m. – Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns – TV: TNT
This will be the most important game of the series for obvious reasons. I’m picking Dallas for this game. Dallas usually plays tough at home and will show everyone the adjustments they made on the road in Phoenix. The key for this game will be injured players. There are no injured players listed for both rosters (at the time of this article). Game 3 showed how well the coaching staffs for both teams on making critical moves and playing time for bench players. Well this one is for all the chips. I’m taking Dallas by 7 for this game on the road. Final Score: Mavericks 106 – Suns 99
