Dallas Mavericks assign guard Ricky Ledo to the Texas Legends

FRISCO, TX The Dallas Mavericks have assigned guard Ricky Ledo to the Texas Legends, the Mavericks’ NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the 19th of the 2014-15 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, while Ledo becomes the 16th NBA player to be assigned.

Ledo (6-7, 195, Providence) appeared in seven games for the Mavericks in the preseason, averaging 6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He was selected in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and then traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and subsequently the Dallas Mavericks. Last season, Ledo played in 39 games for the Legends averaging 13.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Ledo is expected to be in uniform this Friday when the Legends host the Santa Cruz Warriors at 7pm at Dr Pepper Arena.  The game will be broadcast live on television—KTXD47—or radio—KVCE 1160am.  Call 214-469-0822 for tickets or information.
