Only dogs four months or older can attend and dogs must stay on a leash unless they’ve been fixed. Rangers vs. Twins: Friday starts off the three game series against the Twins at the Rangers Ballpark. It’s been a while since these two teams last met up. Back in April the Rangers took home two wins of the four game series in Minnesota. The Twins, who are currently ranked fourth in the AL Central Division will be going against Darvish on the mound. Backstreet Boys: Backstreet’s back, alright! For all you 90’s babies out there, it’s time to relive your childhood. Their songs had you up out of your seat dancing and pretending you could sing. Bedford Blues and BBQ Fest: Bedford knows how to put on a mean festival, with lots of great music and tasty food. Steely Dan: This band has won a Grammy for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal and Best Pop Performance by a Duo of Group with Vocal. Although they hit their stardom in the 70’s, Steely Dan is still rocking out and coming to the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie just for you. Band leaders Walter Becker and Donald Fagen will lead the band in rocking out with their different elements of jazz, rock, funk, R&B and pop. The Cult: Back in 1983, The Cult was born out of England. Also known as Death Cult, the hard rock band is known for their heavy metal, post-punk, alternative rock mix. They can’t be put into a specific genre because their music evokes so many emotions and feelings, they have to express it they best way they know how. Ian, Billy, Chris and John will play for us this Sunday at the House of Blues. The house will start rocking out at 7 p.m. with rock band White Hills. Following their performance, The Cult will take the stage and you can jam out to “Sanctuary,” “Rain” and so many more of their songs.
FC Dallas Pool Party: Earlier this month, FC Dallas clenched it’s first official win in a long time, and while it wasn’t the season they had hoped for so far, that’s reason enough to celebrate. Join many other FC Dallas fans for this fun party and free beer. You can donate to the FC Dallas’ foundation at the soccer-centric pool party and in return receive free tickets to games.
