Houston Texans starting running back Arian Foster injured his groin during Monday evening’s practice and will likely need surgery according to ESPN’s Tania Ganguli.

Foster likely will miss the start of the regular season due to the injury. He missed three games last season and still finished with 1,246 rushing yards, good enough for sixth in the NFL.
