Independence Stadium – Shreveport

Significance: If you like run games, then this is the bowl game for you. There will be two very talented running backs showcased in this game. The senior running back Andre Williams of the Eagles and the junior running back Kadeem Karey of the Wildcats will look to lead their team to victory on the ground.

Arizona Wildcats: Running Back Kadeem Karey who has rushed for over 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, will look to solidify himself as possibly the best back in the game at the college level. The man who rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns in the upset win against Oregon will definitely want to prove that he and Williams are not on the same level. Though both teams look to run the ball, they do so differently. The Arizona Wildcats will look to use a type of spread approach that keeps defenses off balance through the use of speed and option plays. Wildcats quarterback,  B.J. Denker has thrown for 2,241 yards and 14 touchdowns while also rushing for 898 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Boston College Eagles: Running back Andre Williams, who has rushed for more than 2,100 yards and 17 touchdowns, will also look to solidify himself as possibly the best back in the game on the college as well. Boston College who loves to run the ball rarely utilizes the option and prefers the more traditional way of getting their running game going. Williams will look to bounce run off tackle and get into space, which will then set up the play-action for quarterback Chase Rettig. Even though they love to run the ball, senior wide receiver Alex Amidon, has proven to be a consistent target for the quarterback,  totaling 903 yards and five touchdowns.

Prediction: The Wildcats will pounce on the Eagles and win comfortably. Arizona 31 – Boston College 20
