Hey DFW! It’s time to party!

Here’s our guide to helping you figure out what you’re going to do this weekend. Enough said…

Thursday 5/16
Tigers vs. Rangers
– The road trip started off a little rough with back-to-back losses but the Rangers turned it around taking six out of seven with a sweep of the Astros for good measure. The Rangers open their current home stand with the Tigers. Verlander vs. Darvish. This should be a great pitching duel! www.texas.rangers.mlb.com

Friday 5/17
Main Street
Days – Friday is the start of three family-friendly fun-filled days in historic downtown Grapevine. They’ll have live music, a “Grillin’ Competition”, carnival rides for the little ones as well as wine and craft beer for the adults. The best part? Get there before 5pm for free admission. https://www.grapevinetexasusa.com/mainstreetdays/

HP Byron Nelson Championship – The annual golf tournament that is a must attend event at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas for all fans of golf will be in Day 2 mode. Taste Addison – The Town of Addison magically transforms into a mini-festival for the weekend when it hosts its annual Taste Addison event. Parking is always free and one can sample the dishes that the local restaurants offer. There is also live music going on each night. Please note: lawn chairs, coolers and animals are not allowed. www.addisontexas.net

John Witherspoon – Get your funny bone ready for a night of laughs when John Witherspoon takes the stage in Addison. You’ll remember him from the movie Friday as Ice Cube’s dad.
