Texas Southern’s season ended Thursday with a 93-72 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Wildcats (32-3). Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Wildcats with 23 points and 10 rebounds as Arizona had a lead as large as 27 points.
Madarious Gibbs led Texas Southern (22-13) with 15 points as the Tigers’ regular season upsets of Kansas State and Michigan State kept the ‘Cats wary of their opponent.
