The Jayhawks’ season ended in the Third Round Sunday with a 78-65 defeat by Wichita State.
Kansas (27-9) was led by the trio of Perry Ellis (17 points, eight rebounds), Frank Mason III (16 points) and Devonte Graham (17 points). The Jayhawks out rebounded the Shockers 38-32.
The Shockers were led by Fred Van Vleet (17 points, six assists, six rebounds and four steals) and Evan Wessel (12 points on 4-for-6 on 3’s and nine rebounds).
Wichita State will play Notre Dame in the Sweet 16. Tip off is 3/26 at 6:15 pm CST.
