The Texas Rangers wrapped up their series against the Boston Red Sox. This series turned out to be a very good series for the Rangers as they were successful in winning it.
Yovani Gallardo was on the mound for the Rangers for game one, but it turned out to be a very rough night for him as he allowed ten hits, including two home runs. In game 2, Rangers Pitcher Phil Klein was on the mound, and this was a special night for him as it was his very first Major League start. Klein’s debut as a starting pitcher turned to be a remarkable performance as he only surrendered one run, allowing five hits, and striking out four batters. The Rangers would end up winning 2-1, while holding the lead the entire game.
Wandy Rodriguez took the mound for the Rangers in game 3. Rodriguez allowed only four hits, struck out five batters, and only surrendered one run in the six innings that he pitched. The Rangers ended up winning game 3 with a score of 3-1. Just like in game 2, the Rangers took an early lead, and never lost it.
