Prior to his stint with the Aces, he spent seven years (2003-2010) as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Corpus Christi IceRays of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Bogorad has called more than 700 professional regular season and playoff hockey games in his career. In 2011 Bogorad was voted the ECHL Broadcaster of the Year. The native of Los Angeles, California began his broadcasting career with the Los Angeles Kings as the team’s radio correspondent on 97.1FM KLSX. He later attended the University of Arizona, where he served as the broadcaster for the school’s hockey team in 2001. That season Bogorad was also selected to broadcast the ACHA National Championship tournament. Upon graduating from Arizona with a degree in media arts and a minor in communications, Bogorad was hired by the IceRays and remained in South Texas for seven seasons, becoming the longest tenured broadcaster in the team’s history.
