This game will be the Broncos swing game. The term swing game means if the Broncos lose this game, it will cause them to struggle with the last 4-5 games on the schedule. The Broncos have to win this game in order to make a playoff run to repeat as world champions. ESPN has the Broncos listed as a 69.6% to win. But you can’t write off Kansas City in any way. Key players are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game: Aquib Talib, Casey Kreiter, T. J. Ward and Derek Wolfe just might miss this one. Let’s take a look at the game and break down the numbers.

Why you shouldn’t watch this game
It’s the last game of the night. You want to watch the world champs beat the Chiefs, but your wife wants to put up the Christmas tree and she needs your help.

Why you should watch this game
Division positioning in the AFC West. The Raiders won in Mexico on Monday and the Broncos are a game and a half behind in the division.

Offense
Trevor Siemian is getting better under center. He’s beginning to read the defense more by changing the protection at the line. His problem is not recognizing the coverage by scrapping the pass and handing the ball off. The Chiefs pass rush mirrors the Broncos d-line scheme. Trevor Siemian has to hold the safety by looking him off. He spends more time passing the ball in double coverage instead of going through his progressions. He’s the key to the offense. The Broncos have a decent run game when they allow the runners to run. The offense has to play an aggressive scheme to beat Kansas City this week.

Defense
Alex Smith is a really good quarterback. He isn’t flashy, he’s consistent! Every year he seems to get better with every game. He’s very reliable too. He has 2077 passing yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. His numbers won’t blow you away, but he’s a winner. His main target is Travis Kelce with 574 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The defense has to get back on track. Last year at this time every opposing offense coordinator had to change their scheme before playing Denver. Now opposing teams are using their running backs as receivers out of the back field because the Broncos can’t cover the backs. Von Miller has to become that beast unchained to get the defense back on track.

Snack Scale
This game will be a good game. Denver fans are chomping at the bit to see the Denver defense feast on Andy Reid’s prolific offense. I give this game a #1 with cheese and jalapenos from What-A-Burger!
(On a scale of 1 to 10 … This one is a 9!)

Prediction
The Broncos will win this by 10 points!
