After the Washington Wizards made history with wiping out the Toronto Raptors in their first four games, they’re shaking things up with the #1 team ATL Hawks! Wizard’s point guard, John Wall led his team with 18 points and 13 assist leaving the ending score 104-98. This miraculous team is now leading Round 2 of the NBA series.

With Atlanta having a pretty good record of 60-22 and the Wizards ending their season with a 46-36 record, it’s going to be an exciting round. Although the Wizards may be the underdogs, they are making noise. This year is a very important year for the Hawks because in January 2015, they became the first team to go 17-0 in a month. This team had four Hawks participate in the All-Star game; Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver and Al Horford. Together this team has been dominating and walking all over the NBA this season. With their top scorers, DeMarre Carroll dropping on an average of 18.4 points per game along with Paul Millsap and Kyle Korver both averaging 15 points per game, they have the whole package and the tools it takes to win. Atlanta is the number one seed and is expected to win.

But John Wall, Paul Pierce and Bradley Beal say other wise. Washington’s guard Bradley Beal managed to end the season with an average of 22.2 points per game; along with point guard John Wall and Paul Pierce averaging 16.2 points. Although this team was originally in the 4th and 5th seed of the first round, they are defiantly making their way to the top and not letting anyone get in the way.

My prediction, although Hawks have a better ranking, the Wizards have a shot in making better moves. They are continuing to get better. The Wizards continues to surprise us every game with John Wall assists and Brad Beal shots. The Hawks are next to possible be swept out of the series and they will keep going until they get to either the Bulls or LeBron James and family. I predict that tonight’s game will be even better because the Hawks know they have to win and this Wizards team is not backing down. The Wizards know they are at the bottom, but you have to start from the bottom until you get to the top. So who will win tonight’s game? Stayed tuned on TNT to find out. Tip off at 7:00 pm CT.
