Jose Aldo and all his Brazilian teammates celebrate his win at UFC 200 which set up a rematch with Conor McGregor. By Aldo beating Frankie Edgar for a second time he’ll get a chance to face McGregor who knocked him out in 13 seconds at the end of the year.
Dana White told the former “Undisputed Featherweight King” after McGregor faces Nate Diaz at UFC 202 in August, he’ll be next in line for the “Notorious” one. Aldo (26-2) has been obsessed with fighting McGregor again since their shocking fight in Dec. 2015 at UFC 194.
McGregor’s record breaking 13-second knockout off Aldo was the fastest in a UFC championship fight and ended Aldo’s 18-fight winning streak which spanned over a decade.
