UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Ngannou II will air on November 24, 2018, in Beijing, China.

Preliminary Card (Fight Pass)

LOUIS “DA LAST SAMURAI” SMOLKA (14-5-0) vs SUMUDAERJI SUMUDAERJI (10-3-0)
This is a three-round fight in the bantamweight division. Smolka brings boxing, Kenpo karate, and judo. Sumudaerji brings striking and grappling. Both can strike, but Smolka is more aggressive and accurate. His boxing in always on point and is greater than any Sumudaerji has ever faced. His Kenpo karate will also help his defensive game making it more difficult for Sumudaerji to attack. My prediction: Smolka wins via TKO in Round 1.

KEVIN “TRAILBLAZER” HOLLAND (13-4-0) vs JOHN “THE WELSH WRECKING MACHINE” PHILIPS (21-7-0, 1 NC)
This is a three-round fight in the middleweight division. Holland brings striking and jiu-jitsu. Philips brings boxing and judo. Similar style, but Holland’s jiu-jitsu is greater than Philips’ judo. His attacks more on point and wears down his opponents quicker while pacing himself. Philips can try his boxing, but he does not appear fast enough to catch Holland with a clean hit. My prediction: Holland wins via unanimous decision.

YAN “NINE” XIAONAN (9-1-0, 1 NC) vs SYURI KONDO (6-1-0)
This is a three-round fight in the women’s strawweight division. Xiaonan brings boxing and jiu-jitsu. Kondo brings kickboxing, shoot boxing, karate, and wrestling. Both can strike and grapple, but Xiaonan is better at pacing herself. She will use her jiu-jitsu to bring the fight to the ground. She will then grapple and mix in her boxing to create ground-and-pound. My prediction: Xiaonan wins via TKO in Round 3.

WEILI “MAGNUM” ZHANG (17-1-0) vs JESSICA “JAG” AGUILAR (20-6-0)
This is a three-round fight in the women’s strawweight division. Zhang brings boxing, judo, and jiu-jitsu. Aguilar brings boxing and jiu-jitsu. They both can strike and grapple, but Zhang has better control. With her judo and jiu-jitsu, she will wear down Aguilar faster. Mixed in her boxing and she will deliver vicious ground-and-pound until Aguilar can no longer defend. My prediction: Zhang wins via TKO in Round 3.

HU “BAD BOY” YAOZONG (3-1-0) vs RASHAD “DAYWALKER” COULTER (8-4-0)
This is a three-round fight in the heavyweight division. Yaozong brings striking, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Coulter brings boxing and Muay Thai. The grappling Yaozong brings should be trouble for a striker like Coulter. However, Coulter is one tough fighter with high-quality knockout power; more than any Yaozong has ever faced. Even with Yaozong’s jiu-jitsu and wrestling he won’t be able to stand against Coulter’s power. My prediction: Coulter wins via knockout in Round 1.

WU “MULAN” YANAN (9-2-0) vs LAUREN “TIGER PRINCESS” MUELLER (6-0-0)
This is a three-round fight in the women’s flyweight division. Yanan brings striking, judo, and jiu-jitsu. Mueller brings striking, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Well-rounded fighters these females are; Mueller is more efficient with her grappling. Her mixture of jiu-jitsu and wrestling is greater than Yanan’s judo and jiu-jitsu. Bring in her speed and she will bring Yanan to the ground before she knows it. My prediction: Mueller wins via submission in Round 1.

SONG “THE ASSASSIN” KENAN (14-4-0) vs ALEX “THE GREAT WHITE” MORONO (14-5-0, 1 NC)
This is a three-round fight in the welterweight division. Kenan brings striking and jiu-jitsu. Morono brings striking, kickboxing, taekwondo, and jiu-jitsu. Both have the same amount of experience, but Morono appears to have better combinations. His striking and taekwondo giving his knockout power and defense where Kenan possesses just striking. Kenan has jiu-jitsu to use, but so does Morono so it doesn’t appear to be much help. My prediction: Morono wins via unanimous decision.

PINGYUAN LIU (12-5-0) vs MARTIN “THE SPARTAN” DAY (8-2-0)
This is a three-round fight in the bantamweight division. Liu brings striking, karate and judo. Day brings boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, and grappling. Both are well-rounded, but Day has the better striking. His boxing and kickboxing are more efficient than Liu’s striking. Even Liu’s karate won’t be enough to save him, especially against the taekwondo Day possesses. My prediction: Day wins via TKO in Round 2.

Main Card (Fight Pass)

LI “THE LEECH” JINGLIANG (15-5-0) vs DAVID “SAGAT” ZAWADA (16-4-0)
This is a three-round fight in the welterweight division. Jingliang brings Sanshou, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Zawada brings boxing and jiu-jitsu. The boxing Zawada possesses appears to be big trouble for Jingliang. However, Jingliang’s wrestling and jiu-jitsu combinations will prove more than Zawada’s boxing. He will wear Zawada down as the fight progresses while Zawada fights to stay alive. My prediction: Jingliang wins via unanimous decision.

SONG YADONG (13-3-0, 2 NC) vs VINCE “VANDETTA” MORALES (8-2-0)
This is a three-round fight in the bantamweight division. Yadong brings boxing and jiu-jitsu. Morales brings boxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Both are well-equipped, but the grappling power of Morales is far greater. With his jiu-jitsu and wrestling background, he will be able to control the fight. By bringing it to the ground he will wear Yadong down until finding the finishing submission hold. My prediction: Morales wins via submission in Round 2.

#6 ALISTAIR “REEM” OVEREEM (43-17-0, 1 NC) vs SERGEY PAVLOVICH (12-0-0)
This is a three-round co-main event in the heavyweight division. Overeem brings kickboxing, Muay Thai, judo, and jiu-jitsu. He is a former Strikeforce heavyweight champion. Pavlovich brings striking and wrestling. Newcomer, Pavlovich brings impressive striking, but he doesn’t have enough techniques to go toe-to-toe with Overeem. Overeem’s kickboxing will show trouble especially with attacks on Pavlovich’s legs. Then when the fight goes to the ground Overeem’s jiu-jitsu will get the best of him. It is there where Overeem will wear him down while inflicting damage for serious points. My prediction: Overeem wins via unanimous decision.

#3 CURTIS “RAZOR” BLAYDES (10-1-0, 1 NC) vs #5 FRANCIS “THE PREDATOR” NGANNOU (11-3-0)
This is a five-round main event in the heavyweight division. Blaydes brings striking and wrestling. Ngannou brings boxing and savate. In this rematch, Blaydes seeks to avenge his loss to Ngannou. With Ngannou’s deadly knockout power it will be tough. However, Blaydes has improved massively since then and his wrestling will show great advantage this time around. Ngannou has shown a great decline in his performance and his cardio is not that great. That is also where Blaydes will take advantage by wearing Ngannou out and bringing the fight to the ground. There he will tear him apart until Ngannou can no longer continue. My prediction: Blaydes wins via TKO in Round 3.
