The ROT Rally has been providing a journey, a destination, and entertainment for 20 years now. And this year’s Rally kept with that tradition and provided rally goers an incredible weekend to be enjoyed by all motorcycle enthusiasts.

The Friday night parade to downtown Austin is a can’t be missed event for any rally goer. Non-motorcycle riders from all over lined the downtown streets to welcome the ROT bikers and to look over the bikes once they were parked. The atmosphere of all the motorcycles combined with downtown Austin and the iconic 6th street scene is something special for all who participated and will remembered for a long time. Throughout the weekend, vendors, daredevil shows, burnouts, bike shows, and custom bike builders provided plenty of activities for bikers to do while not riding the scenic hill country. Austin is known for some of the best live music in the country. And the ROT Rally didn’t disappoint this year. Thursday night,  Creedence Clearwater Revisited performed original hits of their own and that of their namesake…Credence Clearwater Revival. Friday night, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes performed at the main stage of the fairgrounds for those that didn’t go downtown, and for those that did, Asleep at the Wheel put on a great downtown show. Saturday night the stage was taken by Lynyrd Skynyrd and blasted out tunes that kept the rally goers entertained.

All in all, the 20th anniversary of the ROT did the previous 19 rallies proud. Here’s to another 20 rallies ROT and can’t wait for #21 in 2016!
