Injuries take the headlines and changes the dynamics for the Broncos this week. The team has four starters sitting this one out. Running back C. J. Anderson, center Matt Paradise, linebacker Brandon Marshall and corner back Aqib Talib missed Wednesdays practices with ailments. Game time decisions will be plastered all over the airwaves on Sunday morning.

This would be the outside celebration at City Park. Every year the city celebrate its final Art Exhibit at the park with a carnival feel. Your wife is looking for fall pictures to decorate the home for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Why you should watch this game
San Diego always play a competitive game against the Broncos. Phillip Rivers is looking like his 2011 Pro Bowl self. The running game for the Chargers is picking up steam with every carry. Can the Broncos defense shut them down?

Offensive Game Plan
C.J. Anderson is obviously out for the rest of the year. Rookie Devontae Booker will be the featured back now. He runs with power between the tackles and posses speed on the outside turning corners running up the field. “He will have a chance to show off his penchant for finishing runs with a rattling thump and his hands in the passing game”, said head coach Gary Kubiak after Thursday’s practice.

Defensive Game Plan
Phillip Rivers has passed for 2018 yards in the air. He’s the key to the Chargers offense plain and simple. Melvin Gordon should get the bulk of the carries. He is a talented runner that possess power and speed. The key to shutting him down is putting pressure on Rivers. When the Chargers get behind on points they abandon the run and start throwing passes all over the place. The Bronco corners are very stingy and are 3rd in the league in interceptions. The Broncos defense is only giving up 175 yards per game only giving up 16.7 points per game.

Game prediction:
Broncos by 10 in this one. San Diego is a good team that’s trying to get to .500 this week. I don’t see them beating Denver at home this week. This will be a close game from start to finish.
