Records Before the Game
North Texas Mean Green (8-3, 4-3 C-USA)
UTSA Roadrunners (3-8, 2-5 C-USA)

Remember the Alamo! It’s now the battle cry of the UTSA Roadrunners! Both teams are looking to close out the regular season with a win. The UNT Mean Green is sitting pretty at 8-3, while UTSA sits at 3-8. Just last year UTSA was the darlings of Texas college football. Boy have things changed! Both teams are pretty good, but don’t let the record of the home team fool ya. This game could go either way. Let’s take a look at the game on Saturday!

UNT Mean Green
UNT is lead by Quarterback Mason Fine who has been lighting up teams from the first game until now. He has over 3400 yards passing and is responsible for 25 touchdowns. The running game will be key and running back DeAndre Torrey needs to touch the ball at least 20 times to eat the clock up. UNT can put up points from anywhere on the field. This game will be an audition for bowl committees to put this team in a major bowl. The bigger the bowl, the bigger payout for the school.

UTSA Roadrunners
Offense is the key for this team. The Roadrunners have mustered up 13.5 points a game this year. How will they put up points against a stingy defense that gives up 21 points per opposition. This team is giving up 31 points while UNT scores 37 on average. Quarterback Cordale Gundy has to play a mistake free game in order to have a chance to beat UNT at home. This game is their bowl game and I expect it to be competitive at least.

Snack Scale
Regular nachos for this one. Add a Coke and a couple of honey buns for this one. It will be over in the first half.

UNT will run away with this one easily!

Final Score
UNT 34
