Last night was a party, but not just any party. This one sent shockwaves throughout downtown Dallas and paved the way for a weekend full of club hopping and edm. However, only a select few were lucky enough to experience it and they bore witness to the demonstration proving Dallas was all about that bass and very little treble.

Malibu Rum and Pandora Music sponsored the event which took place in the Fuse Event Room, well, not a room per se. It was more of a rooftop pool party without swimming. Yes, people came out to enjoy some of the best edm America has to offer all while enduring the summer heat of Texas. You just can’t pass up an open bar because of the temperature. With a frozen pina colada in one hand it felt like west coast beach weather. And once the sun set and the music started bumping, people went into a trance. That is the power Redfoo from LMFAO has over an audience. His beats sent the crowd spiraling into party fever.

It was intimate to say the least. With just around a hundred or so people, the place was still packed. Malibu Rum did an excellent job of dishing out hors d’oeuvres and delivering ice cold drinks to everyone’s hands. Redfoo and his dance crew went crazy on stage and even rocking out with his audience by walking through the crowd as part of his performance. The atmosphere was epic.
