Well ESPN and the entire sports world is picking “Tom Terrific” (Tom Brady) and the New England Patriots to win this one easily. Well I’m not! I’m going with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have the best defense in the AFC and is at the top of the league in turnovers. We all know that Tom Brady hurt his hand during practice. Maybe that’s the excuse they will use when the Jaguars beat the Patriots at home. On the other hand, maybe it would be the mystique of Tom Brady and the Patriots win another conference title. Let’s take a look at the AFC Championship Game.

Why you shouldn’t watch this game
You’re still in church and your pastor doesn’t care who’s playing because he’s content explaining his sermon in terms you’ll actually understand.

Why you should watch this game
Tom Coughlin has the Patriots number. Remember, he was the head coach for the New York Giants when they beat the Patriots in two Super Bowls. Now he’s an executive for the Jaguars and he can stop the Patriots high powered offense.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Blake Bortles put up great numbers against Pittsburgh and yeah, you can say that the Steelers were looking ahead to playing the Patriots for this game. We’ll go with that excuse. Blake Bortles plain and simple came out and hit the Steelers in mouth and the Steelers defense couldn’t do anything about it. Now this week the Jags will do the same. Maybe it’s me, but the Jaguars running game can’t be stopped by the Patriots. The Patriots defense isn’t as strong as the world thinks it is. The Jaguars are averaging 141.3 rushing yards a game while scoring 26.1 points per game. In order for to stop the Patriots you have to silence Rob Gronkowski. We all know he’s getting the ball, stopping it is another story.

New England Patriots
The game rides on Tom Brady. Questions are looming about his phantom injury. Is he or isn’t he injured? The Patriots are a great team that makes adjustments in every aspect of the game. The Patriots will come out running the ball, but that won’t last for long. Tom Brady will find his receivers all over the field in key spots. The Patriots offense loves playing their offensive schemes in spots. If back up Brian Hoyer has to come in and play, hes 2-2 all time against the Jaguars. Quarterback play is key for the Patriots. Dion Lewis has to carry the load for the offense during this one. His pass catching abilities will open up the deep passing game. This game will be epic to say this least.

Prediction
This game comes down to how well both defenses play. The over/under is 45. I’m taking the Jaguars and the over as the safe bet across the board.

Final Score
Jaguars 35 – Patriots 27
