Indianapolis Colts (6-6, 2-4 Away)
Houston Texans (9-3, 5-1 Home)
The Indianapolis Colts come into Houston facing the Houston Texans who are looking to extend their winning streak to ten and for a chance to remain in the playoff race. Their loss last week to the Jacksonville Jaguars made this game critical if they want any shot to snatch the final wild card slot. The Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is set to play despite a shoulder injury. In 10 games he has a team high 787 yards on 53 receptions to go with six touchdowns as QB Andrew Luck’s top receiving target.
Riding on a nine-game win streak the Houston Texans can clinch the AFC South by beating the Indianapolis Colts today at NRG Stadium. The Texans are in a much different place now than the first time they faced the Colts this season when they were 0-3 and desperate for a win. Ka’imi Fiarbairn made a field goal as time expired in OT to lead the Texans to a 37-34 victory in that game and they haven’t lost since, kicking off a franchise record nine straight wins entering todays match.
I look for this to be a shootout if T.Y. Hilton plays. Unless we can keep our secondary on full alert then this should be a Luck vs Watson matchup that will keep fans glued to their tv’s.
