Houston Texans at Washington Redskins
Sunday – November 18 – 12:00 p.m.
Fed Ex Field – Landover, MD
RECORDS BEFORE GAME
Houston Texans ( 6 – 3 )
Washington Redskins ( 6 – 3 )
The Houston Texans are coming off the bye week well rested, on a six game winning streak with almost their whole roster healthy and ready except for the following players; cornerback Aaron Colvin, Wide Receiver Keke Coutee, Linebacker Zach Cunningham and Duke Ejiofor. Against the Broncos, QB Deshaun Watson threw for 213 yards and two scores. WR DeAndre Hopkins had a big game leading the receivers with 10 receptions for 105 yards and a TD.
The Washington Redskins defense allowed 501 yards of total offense last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Bucs but only gave up 3 points. RB Adrian Peterson was listed as limited in practice Wednesday with a shoulder injury. Redskins LT Trent Williams who’s returning from thumb surgery is not likely to play today but may be back for the Dallas Cowboys matchup on Thanksgiving Day.
Both the Houston Texans and Washington Redskins want to win in order to protect their respective division leads but unfortunately someone has to lose. The Houston Texans still need to get in the endzone as many times as they can and help ease the pressure on their defense and special teams to keep the games close. The Texans have struggled to score in seven of nine games this season.
The Houston Texans will come out firing on all cylinders looking to take this game with a win on the road but it wont be easy.
