Nerd love is in the air DFW; can you feel it? Deadpool is about to grace the big screen and Dallas Comic Con’s Fan Days falls on Valentine’s days this year.
What a time to be alive, truly.
The Blitz Weekly gang is lucky enough to attend and we’ll be covering the cool stuff you wanna know about, maybe get an interview or two and showing pics of awesome cosplay that gets better and better each year.
2015 was the first year for me missing out on the shindig and I intend to make up for lost time. If you have never been, you really don’t know what you’re missing out on, or maybe you do because you’re an introvert and social gatherings freak you out. But don’t fret cause even if that’s you, our photographer will be snapping pictures for your viewing pleasure in the comfort of you home.
Now I’m not tell you every single artist, celeb, and booth that will be there because you can find all the info right here you lazy bastards, but a few of the people I’m psyched about are Will Friedle (the older brother from Boy Meets World and voice of Terry Mcginnis/Batman in Batman Beyond), John Barrowman (from Doctor Who and Arrow), legendary artist Neal Adams and cosplayers Hioshi Jackson and Krystle Starr.
And even though it feels out of place to me they have, for you singles who maybe looking to mingle (at a con though? Eh I guess I’m alone on this one) they will be having speed dating sessions, five of them over the two day period. So if you need something to do this weekend or a distraction from the fact that the next president of the USA might be Martin Sheen’s character from Dead Zone (Save us Christopher Walken!), hit up Fan Days for an awesome experience.
