By the time the Knicks are in town on Monday, they’ll be either 4-5 or 3-6 depending on whether they beat the Toronto Raptors on Saturday or not. Regardless, the Mavs need to be ready. They’ll be squaring off against the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.
The key to winning for the Mavericks is to be consistent on offense and do their best to make more baskets than miss them, and to play good on the defensive side of the ball by covering well, as well as collect some rebounds and force turnovers. It’s still early in the season, so the Mavs can turn things around and become a good team again.
But in order to that, they need to play better and they need to start winning and keep winning.
