If they win that game, the whole circus just continues on, all the noise is secondary, and it’s all on to the next week against the Eagles. LOSE that game… Everything on the table is in question and under the microscope. The job security of everyone on the coaching staff on the offensive side of the ball. The sustainability and long-term viability of current Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott. What is Sean Lee’s next move? It’s all up for epic debate. The Titans rolled into the same place where their division foe Jacksonville played and got destroyed, and they dismantled the Cowboys. The Titans weathered early adversity to watch the Cowboys waste opportunities to get on top big, stuck to their game and in their rear-view, a franchise in flames.

Make no bones about it, losing Conner Williams for any stretch is REALLY going to hurt an already pretty porous offensive line, and against the defensive line that the Eagles will be able to keep on the field, I question the Cowboys getting into field goal range on Sunday night.

The Cowboys have been Jekyll and Hyde on the road versus when they’ve been in Arlington, but that bubble burst on the national stage on Monday night. The Cowboys NEED to showcase and justify their acquisition of Amari Cooper was laughably predictable, then blew up in their face when Prescott threw a pass towards Cooper while he was double covered. Seeing as Dak’s pocket awareness is towards the bottom of the NFL qualifiers, and when he has time in the pocket to find things down field it’s almost as if he adds defenders or doesn’t trust his own ability or a combination of the two, because when he has noticeable time to himself in the pocket, it’s going to be an incomplete pass. And he sacked himself again against Tennessee. I wish I was just being a hater, I really would like the things being pointed out were fixable, but the decline of Dak Prescott from season to season to this point in his third year is apparent to everyone.

This is a low time for the Cowboys. However, it isn’t like the division is out of reach from Washington. The Cowboys go and actually DO something, they are right back in the mix. The Eagles also added a receiver before the trade deadline, THE PERFECT player for the Eagles to go after, a player that the Cowboys fans just love to hate, Golden Tate, a player that always responds in kind by usually having a great game against the Cowboys. The Cowboys have their work cut out for them, and though they could win, it’s a pretty solid long shot.
