Game Info
Atlanta Falcons vs. Denver Broncos
Sunday – October 9 – 3:05 p.m.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High – Denver – Colorado

Records Before the Game
Atlanta Falcons 3-1, 2-0 Away
Denver Broncos 4-0, 2-0 Home

The Atlanta Falcons looked great against the Carolina Panthers. Julio Jones had 300+ yards in receptions and Matt Ryan had a quarterback rebirth under center. So what! The Panthers defense isn’t the Broncos defense. Julio Jones won’t have those numbers against Denver. The Broncos defense welcomes that style of play. Matt Ryan won’t even have the chance to sit back and throw down the field against the Broncos defense Sunday.

Why you shouldn’t watch this game
The Bengals and Cowboys are playing on Channel 11 and everyone is in love with Dak Prescott.

Why you should watch this game
You should be interested in seeing if the Bronco defense could shut down Julio Jones on the outside.

Offensive Game Plan
Trevor Siemian if healthy will be back under center. Paxton Lynch looked very capable of carrying the offense in Siemian’s absence. Whoever is under center the Broncos is a run first offense that allows the passing game to open up. Look for C. J. Anderson to pick up big yardage in this one. By running the ball on 1st and 2nd downs the Falcon defense is prone to making mistakes later in the game. Fatigue will be the factor in this game. There’s a big difference in playing in a dome and being outside in Denver.

Defensive Game Plan
Matt Ryan is the key. He looked like his a top ranked quarterback against Carolina last week. Julio Jones torched the Panthers corners for 300+ yards receiving. They looked dynamic, but the key was the run game. Devonta Freeman is running hard between the tackles which wears out the defense by keeping them on the field for long periods of time. Jared Crick, Darius Kilgo and Von Miller has to attack the line against the Falcons. Making Matt Ryan uncomfortable will stall the Falcons offense during Sunday’s contest. Aqib Talib will challenge the receivers on the edges. Taking away the pass would allow the defense to apply pressure.

Game prediction:
The Falcons will lose this one in the latter parts of the 4th quarter. It’s where they make the most mistakes. I’m picking the Broncos by 10!
